It takes more than houses and sports centres to make a community. How about some means of generating wealth in the Deepcut area that stays with the residents instead of going into the developers’ pockets? How about building offices and industrial units to provide employment for locals?
What will the locals get – heavy construction traffic, noise, dust, rubbish dumped all over the place. When that has all finally cleared what is left, no real improvement, just more of the same. The ‘medical facilities’ seem to have gone too.The only ones who benefit will be the developers and the travellers.
Where is SHBC’s duty of care to the Deepcut electorate?
