Places To Visit: The Look Out Discovery Centre Play Area Extension

Back in September I wrote about The Look Out Discovery Centre off Nine Mile Ride, Bracknell.   When I visited today I took this picture of the new play area which is due for completion shortly.

The Look Out play area inclusive play equipment funded through Playbuilder and Aiming High. The Look Out play area has been extended with fully inclusive play equipment funded through ‘Playbuilder’ and ‘Aiming High’ grants.

From what I could see, there is a variety of equipment including a swing and a wheelchair suitable roundabout as well as the ramped play structure seen in the photo.

Having tweeted the photo earlier today, Bracknell Forest council responded to say:

So if the work goes to plan it looks likely that the new extension to the playgound will be open this weekend ready for the Easter school holidays.
