The clamping operators of the Cedar Lane car park are still causing misery to scores of unsuspecting local residents.
Yesterday while I was in Frimley I managed to save four people from being clamped.
In fact the business community of Frimley High Street are becoming increasingly suspicious that Capital2Coast have a plant at the car park offering tickets to unsuspecting people.
Cllr Denis Fuller said today “It is now almost one year since Capital2Coast took over the management of Cedar Lane car park. It is more than likely that they will have collected at least £250,000 in clamping penalties over this period”.
Earlier this year I captured footage of Capital2Coast in action when they had clamped three people in the space of ten minutes. I also managed to capture a representative of Pearl & Coutts on film who was very unconvincing in his justification of the heavy handed methods of Capital2Coast.
The only way to be sure to avoid a clamp release fee at the Cedar Lane Car Park is to not park there at all. There are two completely free alternatives to Cedar Lane in Frimley. Waitrose and the SHBC Run Car Park just off Station Road.
