HEMS Pilot Peter Driver lands HEMS Air Ambulance in St Barbara's Church Car Park
While driving back from the pork tasting event at Heatherhurst Grange this evening, I noticed a rather odd looking vehicle parked in St Barbara’s Church car park.
The Surrey/Sussex HEMS Air Ambulance used the car park to get its doctor and Paramedic on scene to an incident in the area this afternoon.
When I was a first Responder I spent a day with the Air Ambulance at Dunsfold Park and they are an impressive bunch.
Perhaps when I find the time, I will head over to Dunsfold and blog about the Air Ambulance which relies totally on charitable donations to keep the service operational.
